               PERSONAL TRAINING


Using tried and tested methods gathered from over 20 years experience in the fitness industry, we guarantee to get you the results you are after.

Working with Matt is challenging but also fun at the same time. Measurements are taken on a regular basis in order to track your progress and nutrition plans are given for you to follow.

Each week you will agree to comit to some goals for the following week.

Sessions will take place in a gym based environment and can include weight training, olympic lifting, boxing, kickboxing and other fat torching exercises.

Having worked as a Personal Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Specialist for over 10 years, Matt guarantees the results you seek.

As well as the physical side of training, Matt will work with you on the pshychological side in order to get you into the correct frame of mind to stay consistent with your training and nutrition.





After completing a degree in Applied Sports Science Matt pursued a career in Personal Training, and also completed the much sought after Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist award with the National Strength and Conditioning Association of America.

A veteran of gym work, Matt has been training since the age of 16, partaking in nearly every diet and type of training known in the fitness world. Matt holds a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Kickboxing and a brown sash in Kung-Fu, and has also trained in Ju-Jitsu and MMA.

In 2006 Matt represented England in the WKA World Kickboxing Championships and made the team again in 2007. In 2010 Matt won the Revolution Tournament Heavyweight title and the Yorkshire Championships, and was also selected to represent England in the European Muay Thai Championships 2011.

Matt’s sessions are tough, informal and enjoyable, taking into consideration, injury, training age and exercise preferences. Matt’s belief is that sessions should be progressive, and always a challenge. He is constantly reading, studying and taking part in courses in order to stay ahead of the game and provide clients with the best possible approach to their goals.

              NUTRITION PLANS


When it comes to fitness, one of the biggest mine fields is without a doubt what to eat.  What to eat to get lean, what to eat for sporting performance, what to eat to gain muscle.  One thing Matt will tell you is that there is no magic pill, and no one particular diet plan will cover everybody.  Each and every person is different and has different energy requirements.  So what works for one person may not work for another.  That being said, consistency in eating healthy, nutritious foods is key to most goals.

Matt provides on going support with regards to nutrition and can provide individualized, personalised nutrition plans, specifically designed and tailored to the individual.
